Rethink Fast Food at Rawish, a Newly Opened Healthy Eatery in DC

Takeout doesn’t have to be unhealthy. Rawish is transforming fast-casual fare by providing uber-healthy, raw food that is packed with flavor and nutrients. The menu features cold-pressed juices, smoothie bowls, smoothies, wellness shots, salads, toasts, snacks, buddha bowls, and desserts—so there is no shortage of options.

If you want something light and fresh, try a Supercharged Greens smoothie filled with tropical fruits, mint, and all the concentrated greens your body needs. For something a little more hearty, taste the spicy chickpea salad with pickled cabbage, pico de gallo, carrot, chili pepper, tahini sauce, cashew sauce, and marinated kale, with a piece of toast, of course. The Deluxe Avo Toast is a good option with avocado mash, more pico, walnut taco meat, cilantro sauce, and taco sauce on sourdough. Finally, if you’re craving something sweet and indulgent, try the passionfruit cheesecake or peanut butter cream pie.
