Modern American Fare Is on the Menu at Jackie, Now Open Near Riverpoint
For the owners of Jackie, the shutdown a few months ago was actually an opportunity. It gave them time to rework the concept of this eatery, which began as The New Dacha, to make it into something that reflected their own personalities. Inspired by the poise and forward-thinking nature of Jackie Kennedy and the President by whom she stood, they debuted Jackie a few months ago.
Its ‘60s-era architecture jives perfectly with the reimagined American fare. Start with curry-dusted double-fried chicken with garlic mayo and the Jackie O cocktail, a mix of Lillet Rouge, Biutiful rosé cava spritz, rhubarb bitters, and an apple-rhubarb garnish. Then savor an entree such as the grilled skirt steak with Romanesco stir-fry and charred onion steak sauce or the pork cheek adobo with coconut and smoked soy sauce. Jackie is open for limited indoor and outdoor seating, as well as delivery, traditional takeout, and curbside pickup.
